About this opportunity:

Key responsibilities:

  • Run the register and credit card machine
  • Arrange items in the store as needed and keeping the area neat
  • Working in the sorting room accepting donations, sorting, hanging and tagging
  • Other responsibilities as required

What we are looking for in you

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a thrift store or retail environment preferred
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.

 

  • Ability to read and communicate the English language.

 

  • Ability to accurately operate a cash register.

 

  • Ability to perform routine mathematical computations and count change accurately.

 

  • Ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull medium weight objects (less than 50 lbs.)

 

  • Ability to perform frequently walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting.

 

  • Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, or standing.

           

 

 

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in normal store environment with some exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like
