Logistics Planner

(Contingent upon contract award)

About the Position:

This position is on Kwajalein Island (Atoll). Residents of Kwajalein Island will experience everything that island life has to offer. Scuba diving and snorkeling in the waters and wrecks surrounding Kwajalein are popular pastimes for island residents. The island also includes a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, and beach volleyball courts. Deep sea fishing is among the best in the world, which can be done on the beach or on a boat. The island also sponsors free ferry rides to nearby Ebeye Island for daytime excursions.

The Logistics Planner develops and coordinates complex logistics operations and contingency plans for assigned areas of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for material allocation for Found on Installation (FOI) stock.
• Descope Planning   
• Responsible for Project Planning Requests (PPR) material development for new construction projects, repair projects, and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) facilities projects.
• Coordinates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and assists in providing direction and preparing Request for Information (RFIs) to Supply Chain Leadership regarding material management and consumption.
• Coordinates, tracks, and controls all activities associated with Material for Project Planning Estimates (PPE) and other project planning regarding material management.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• 18 yrs. of age or older.
• Minimum five (5) years operational experience in planning and coordinating sustainment (materials and supplies) in support of logistics operations, preferably in military or defense contractor operations.
• Ability to accurately and consistently complete work on schedule and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English
• Can pass a drug and background check.

Additional Qualifications:

• This position is Unaccompanied.
• Must be able to relocate to the United Stated Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
• Able to obtain a visa.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization.
• Must be fully vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus, which means two weeks have passed since a single-shot vaccine or the second dose of a two-shot vaccine. Requests for medical or religious accommodation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
