About the role:

The Second City is looking for a Product Manager to manage the ongoing development of our suite of B2B digital assets.

As a Product Manager, you will provide the expertise needed to expand and deliver world-class solutions to our existing client portfolio. This role will also be responsible for understanding marketplace trends and being able to apply that knowledge to product improvements. Of course, it goes without saying, but a "Yes And" mindset is critical.

The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using a DAM (Digital Asset Manager). The Product Manager will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. They will be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our platforms.

This is a full-time, in-person exempt position at our Chicago office reporting to the Director of Sales Operations. The Product Manager will support our corporate customers and prospects' platforms.

Success will require technical expertise and project management experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Product Expertise: Vast understanding of digital assets and ability to articulate all information about the current portfolio.

Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market trends. Drive new content topics through market and client research. Clearly communicate new video topics and scenarios to Production teams for creation.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities. Analyze competitive products and industry trends to inform product decisions.

Product Development: Maintain a product roadmap that outlines the timeline and key milestones.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, production, marketing, etc.) to define product requirements, features, and user stories based on customer feedback and market insights.

Manage metadata within our DAM (Digital Asset Manager) system to improve UX and UI for our customer base.

Product Launch: Plan and execute successful video launches, including coordinating marketing efforts, creating documentation, and training sales and support teams.

Product Performance: Monitor the product's performance post-launch. Gather user feedback. Track key metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Iterative Improvement: Continuously iterate on the product based on user feedback, market changes, and evolving business goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure a cohesive and successful product development process. Support sales team with reporting and technical questions within sales/retention cycle.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years experience in Product Management

· BA in business, marketing, or a related field

· A creative problem solver who will think beyond requirements, innovate, and provide thoughtful solutions

· Significant experience managing projects and product launch projects

· Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and time within a fast-moving environment

· Dedication to accuracy and detail while remaining results-oriented

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Technical proficiency in DAM, PPT, Salesforce, and Excel
