We currently seek Data Specialist intern to work 20 hours a week in total (over course of 3 days per week) to assist with data entry and data maintenance.

What you can expect to accomplish:

  Enter and maintain master data in alignment with corporate governance and quality criteria (supported by SAP Mater Data Governance {MDG} tool).

  • Monitor data workflows and ensure service level agreements (SLA’s) are achieved

  • Provide general support with data analysis and mass maintenance based on target values provided by functional business areas

  • Track and support service tickets to ensure they are proactively addressed

  • Assist in supporting IT releases

  • Train colleagues and new team members on how to utilize tools as well as process adherence. Assist with creation of training materials and completion of necessary documentation

  • Assist with data cleansing activities

  • Input information for tracking and reporting utilizing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

  • Must presently be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT, Analytics, Biosciences or Engineering is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • SAP (or ERP) knowledge is a definite plus (not required – willing to train)

  • Prior relevant internships or work experience is a plus

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • A collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Continuous learner – able to quickly grasp new concepts

  • Passion for quality and accuracy to enhance business processes 

  • *Position is part time 20 hours a week for one year*
