Associate Loan Officer

This position’s primary purpose is to assist with underwriting, processing, and closing of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans referred by HNB’s Relationship Officers and/or leads generated by the CRE Department. Position duties will include analyzing, prepare and recommend CRE loan request credit memorandums for presentation to the Bank’s Loan Committees, accompany CRE loan officers and independently make calls on prospective and present customers to develop new business and to strengthen existing relationships, assists or independently prepare loan portfolio credit monitoring, including annual CRE term loan reviews. 

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business preferred and previous banking experience in commercial loan structuring, credit analysis, and documentation. Must have strong oral and written communication skills, strong PC skills; working knowledge of all common Office applications (i.e. Word & Excel) and internet application, strong team player, strong organizational skills and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.
