Camp Hooksett - Program Specialist
Do you have the magic it takes to assure groups of campers make memories to last a lifetime? Do you want to create the best summer ever? Do you have experience or are you skilled in Arts & Crafts, Sports, Nature, Drama, Archery and/or Teambuilding? YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett, a traditional summer day camp located at Hooksett Memorial School, is seeking innovative, dynamic, and enthusiastic multi-tasking Program Specialists to join the camp staff team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- plan weekly schedules, theme days, and events
- plan and lead camp activities
- assist with planning and leading staff training
- have fun with campers while being a positive role model of the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett operates for 8 weeks beginning June 24 and ending August 16. Position is part-time during pre-season beginning now. Must have experience working with children. Prefer training and background in recreation, education or a related field. Must be currently certified or willing to become certified in CPR and First Aid (training available).
