PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

 

E-mail/Database

  1. Serves as a resource and assists the Marketing and Advertising Manager with marketing strategy planning as well as input into marketing projects and campaigns related to Marketing, Promotions and Events.
  2. Responsible for all elements of e-mail and SMS campaigns including, but not limited to segmentation, creative, proofing, internal and external communications.
  3. Ensure projects are completed within the company’s brand standards, on time and within budget.
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, (CRM) platforms and/or campaign management tools with the ability to learn and comprehend new programs, as needed by the company.
  5. Prepare data through multiple database integration system(s) and/or player database(s).
  6. Coordinates data collection (manual and automated) through the players club and other group transaction points for tracking and analysis (i.e. promotions, events, entertainment, bus program, etc.).
  7. Ensures database accuracy by maintaining audits and data entry standards.
  8. Creates, manages and modifies reports for E-mail Marketing campaigns on a weekly/monthly basis, as needed.
  9. Continually examine and evaluate E-mail Marketing campaigns results and provide recommendation on how to develop or modify current or new campaigns.

 

Communication

  1. Creates and distributes property newsletter to communicate what is happening at the property.
  2. Communicates all information related to Marketing, Promotions and Events to operating departments to ensure that appropriate personnel are equipped to address customer concerns.
  3. Establishes an effective working relationship with all operating departments.
  4. Maintains relationships with agencies and external vendors.
  5. Understands and follows departmental and Company policies and procedures.
  6. Responds to guest inquiries via phone, e-mail or social media in a timely fashion.
  7. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills.
  8. Generate necessary purchase orders, check requests and support material to ensure invoices are paid.
  9. Performs all other duties as assigned by Marketing and Advertising Manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  2. Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in a major Casino Gaming or Resort environment with work experience in e-mail and database marketing.

  2. Must be organized and detail oriented.
  3. Exceptional service attitude and superior people skills.
  4. Must have public speaking experience.
  5. Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency in tackling challenges.
  6. High level of professionalism.
  7. Ability to work calmly in difficult, high-pressure and high-stress situations.
  8. Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
  9. Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  10. Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required.
  11. Must have a Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position.
