PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  1. Administers the disciplinary process to include: Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Suspensions, Terminations, and other Disciplinary Actions
  2. Manage all Suspensions, PIPs, and Investigations, including tracking and maintenance throughout the investigation process until resolution
  3. Conducts all Investigations related to complaints, disciplinary action, and other Employee Relations issues, including hosting meetings, interviews, and developing resolutions for each type of case
  4. Provides counseling and assistance to employees and management in employee or management issues guided by the company policies and current labor law regulations
  5. Facilitates disciplinary action and/or resolutions with the departments per the investigation outcome
  6. Responsible for processing and administrating Unemployment Claims
  7. Responsible for routing Employee Relations documents and other HR correspondence to the appropriate parties
  8. Assists with Employee Related events such as Anniversary/Christmas Parties, Gift Cards, Rewards and Recognition Programs, etc.
  9. Works with Payroll in facilitating the processing of final checks and preparation of exit packets
  10. Coordinates the approvals and processing of HRIS termination entries
  11. As needed, assists with the administration of workers’ compensation claims, investigation, audits, and general reporting on work related injuries
  12. As needed, assists the Human Resources Coordinator – Leave Administration with processing Leaves, facilitating leave correspondence, conducting the interactive process and issuing accommodation memos
  13. Provides back-up coverage for other Human Resources team members
  14. Assists with other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Work Experience Required:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a Human Resources function or within a Human Resources department; basic knowledge of Employee Relations. Solid generalist experience preferred.

 

Education: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
