POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance and Reliability Manager will be
responsible for analyzing work requirements, installing, operating, and
monitoring mechanical equipment to meet facility needs, and directing the work
of others engaged in maintenance related duties. This position will be in San
Antonio, Texas, and report directly to the Refinery Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure maintenance hourly activities/work orders are
implemented in a safe and productive manner

Provide supervision and management to maintenance
department to ensure the highest level of safety, productivity, and reliability

Communicate daily activities related to manpower,
accomplishments and problem areas to supervision

Provides training, development and performance
appraisal of craft employees and staff

Hold Tool Box meetings and inspections necessary to
achieve safety goals

Implement reliability initiatives to improve equipment
reliability throughout the facility

Assist craftsperson in solving complex equipment
problems

Provides a high level of troubleshooting skills

Determines the most efficient and safest work methods

Other duties as assigned 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

In depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards
including API 510, 653, 570, 571

Root cause analysis trained, capable of leading teams
in resolution of failures

Effective diagnostic methods on troubleshooting
equipment

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

5 or more years of supervisory or management
experience
Or
10 or more years of proven experience in maintenance
and reliability management and a combination of education

NECESSARY ATTRIBUTES

Proficiency in use of Microsoft products: Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint

POSITION PREFERENCES

Familiar with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

Experience with utilizing PSAim software for equipment
history and inspection data collection and analysis
