The Senior Accountant will be responsible for executing the monthly financial accounting
close, account reconciliation and reporting and analysis of financial results.  Primary emphasis is accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles and analysis of reported results to budget, current and prior period trends. 



  • Perform monthly financial close for multi-site facilities in compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare and record monthly general ledger journal entries
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and lead sheets for assigned balance sheet accounts in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly profit sharing calculations for multi-site facilities
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statement presentation to include proper recording of balance sheet accounts, revenue recognition, cost of sales as incurred or earned, capital expenditure, and operating expense reporting
  • Prepare monthly analysis of reported results to budget, current and prior period trends
  • Prepare recurring analysis of reported operational expense trends and variances to budget
  • Participate in financial presentations and annual operating budget preparation
  • Prepare external audit work papers and requests in accordance with established deadlines and guidelines
  • Analyze current processes and structure, provide recommendations for continued progress and efficiencies to make the close and reporting process more accurate and efficient to allow for an improved closing cycle
  • Facilitate effective internal controls in accordance with GAAP and internal SOX policies


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
  • 5+ years’ experience in the analytical application of accounting principles
  • 2+ years’ experience in analysis and reporting within the accounting function of SAP
  • Prior responsibility with balance sheets and P&L accounts including Inventory, Accrued Liabilities, Revenue, and Cost of Sales
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
