PC Desktop Technician

SpecPro Environmental Services is looking for an additional person for our IT department to help with our growing company. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide help desk and desktop support to 300+ internal staff
  • Setup of computer equipment, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support
  • Assist with help desk tickets
  • Document work performed
  • Ensure application availability
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT Operations team
  • Participate in various I.T. infrastructure related projects, rollouts, and implementations as needed

College degree in IT related field


  • Minimum of one (1) year administration, help desk, implementation, desktop support, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with iOS, Android devices
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
  • Computer hardware/software maintenance
  • Windows performance monitoring and tuning
  • Desktop configuration knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of client-side operating systems and applications (Microsoft Office applications, Windows 7/8/10, antivirus)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently
  • All functions performed consistently, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Confidentiality maintained at all times
  • Interact efficiently, cooperatively and professionally with all staff
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred
Microsoft Access experience preferred
