Vista Innovative Services, LLC is seeking a Software Architect to add to our Enterprise Analytics and Systems Support Services (EASSS) team in support of Human Resources Command (HRC) Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD).

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designs high-level software, develops high-level product specifications, and determines technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications, using tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
  • Defines all aspects of development including appropriate technology and workflow and coding standards.
  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems
  • Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security
  • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system
  • Leading software development projects.
  • Documenting and recording every aspect of an application or software.
  • Training and overseeing the activities of the members of the development team.
  • Planning, tracking, and scheduling software deliverables.
  • Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.
  • Looking for problems within software systems and resolving the issues.
  • Developing good working relationships with other employees.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 9 years of technical leadership and architecture experience.
  • Secret Clearance
  • DoD 8570 certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or higher
  • Scrum master experience
  • Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.
  • Knowledge / experience with agile methodologies & tools
  • Knowledge / experience with service/software factories
  • Knowledge / experience with MS Azure DevOps
  • Previous working experience with US Army HRC
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Operate with a security and reliability-first mindset.
