Superintendent

Herman Construction Group Inc., a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH), is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as a Superintendent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction site, managing field staff, supervising craft personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality completion of the project. This position is based at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of the schedule and subcontractor management
• Progress reviews with the owner
• Billing percentage reviews with the owner
• Coordinating with the site safety and quality control managers
• Site access for subcontractors
• Daily reports
• Building and maintaining the project schedule
• RFIs
• Inspections
• Hazard identification
• Review plans and specifications
• Compliance

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in construction
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent for Medical Healthcare facilities
• Has ASHE Healthcare Construction Certification a plus. 
• Demonstrated success managing Government projects
• Proficiency in utilizing RMS, Procore, Word, Excel, and PDF
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as P6 and Microsoft Projects
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, have acceptable references and background check results
• Physical fitness to carry out duties such as maneuvering around worksites, seeing, hearing, and communicating with co-workers and clients
• Ability to work inside and outside office environments and in extreme weather conditions with no compromising of mental alertness
• Be prepared to use PPEs such as hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection and hearing protection
• Exposure to computer screens and extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise

Compensation

$125,000 - $135,000 yearly
