Investment Services Administrative Rep (Full time)
The Administrative Representative for Investment Services is
responsible for providing specialized administrative support to assigned
Investment Representative(s), including processing and filing investment and
insurance documents. Will report directly to their assigned Investment Representative(s).
Duties for this position include:
Scheduling member appointments, ensuring referral forms are processed, and ensuring investments are processed within required broker/dealer established timeframes.
Processing completed investment and/or insurance applications
Confirming member appointments and maintaining member files
Assisting in employer sponsored functions including the annual meeting, financial workshops, and member investment workshops
Gathering, assembling and analyzing information and data from a variety of sources
Preparing reports, hypotheticals, correspondence, and memos
Working with Mutual Fund and Insurance companies and broker/dealer employees on a daily basis
Some of the requirements for this position are:
Must obtain notary license within six months
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.) in order to utilize various software programs
Ability to work independently, self-disciplined/motivated, and member service oriented
Ability to work with executive level managers
Although primary reporting location will be at our Barstow branch must be able to travel to assigned EECU branch locations, as needed
Knowledgeable and up to date about economic conditions and trends
Obtain the Series 6 and 63 security licenses as well within 12 months of being in the position. May also be required to obtain a CA Life Insurance license
Must successfully pass the broker dealer LPL’s screening process
Credit check required
